I would just like to share with you my thoughts about love - whether it is really true that love hurts or it is when one fails to truly love that his/her heart may be broken. I know the idea is not new. There had been many authors in the past and still even more at present whose writings about love has this theme. And so no doubt, you will agree with me when I tell you that love hurts... Do you? Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not serious. I don't believe that love hurts. Yes, I'm sure of that. But I do believe that LOVE CAN MAKE YOU CRY.
Have you been in love? Did you ever cry because you were in love? I'm sure that there was or even there were many times that you cried because of love. And that's completely normal. So don't worry about crying because that is one thing that keeps your heart healthy. I'm not kidding. Only a healthy heart can cry. So if you did cry because of love, you must have a healthy heart.
There was one moment in my life that made me cry a lot. I just can't tell you the details here but I can share with you the story in a song... Because of what happened that moment I wrote a song entitled "Iiyak Na Lang Ako". This is my way of capturing that moment in an artistic way. I hope you will get inspired by the song. Or maybe, challenged by the message of the song, since it speaks about letting go of the one you love and you just cry it out on your own... Indeed love can make you cry.
